Alpine Flavoured Functions


4 Course Christmas party dinner  

Price per person: $55 Minimum guests 50
 
This price includes: 
Menu: Your choice from the menus that follow,

  • 3 items of fingerfood.
  • 1 entree choice.
  • 2 x main choices served 50/50 style (Vegetarian main meals are available where requested)
  • 1 dessert choice.
  • Tea, coffee & chocolates.
  • Fully qualified and experienced staff.
  • Round or oval tables for 8 – 10 people
  • Room decorations including a Christmas tree and Christmas decorations
  • White table linen including Christmas coloured serviettes
  • Black chair covers with gold bows
  • Basic candelabra hire with white candles, ivy and Christmas ribbon decoration
  • Full use of our deck & garden areas with outside furniture and brassier fires lit around the garden.
  • Weather permitting a blazing log fire, (if hot the fireplace will be decorated with candles)This price is based on a 5 hour function. 

Transport can be arranged with pick up & drop off in Bright for as little as $10 pp (minimum 10 passengers per trip) 

Beverages: We are happy to offer drinks on a consumption basis, alternatively you can order one of the following packages.

5 hrs of basic light & heavy beers, bottles red & white wines and soft drink provided for an additional $20 per person (including eggnog on arrival)

A range of light & heavy beers, Local bottled red, white & sparkling wines and soft drink provided for an additional $25 per person for a 5 hour function

Christmas Finger Food

Cold

  • Parmesan shortbread topped with goats cheese, cherry tomatoes and fresh oregano
  • Cheese pastry fingers with artichoke dipping pate 
  • Duck liver, port and sage paté on Lebanese bread triangles with julienne of spring onion & red pepper
  • Blinis topped with scrambled egg, smoked salmon & fresh dill
  • Bruschetta  with goats cheese, basil and tomato 

Warm

  • Turkey breast roulade filled with orange & macadamia nut stuffing served on foccacia toasts with red currant sauce
  • Sundried tomato, artichoke & bocconcini muffins 
  • Dates stuffed with Christmas almonds & wrapped in bacon
  • Smoked trout & asparagus  filo triangles served with hollandaise sauce 
  • Tomato, basil and melted bocconcini toasted sandwiches
  • Baby pork and apple sausage rolls served with homemade plum sauce 

Entrees
COLD

  • Tomato basil & bocconcini salad – served with warm Turkish bread
  • Fresh tomato & basil brussetta
  • Meze plate of houmous, tzatziki & smoked trout mousse served with pita crisps
  • Antipasto plate with prosciutto, houmous & roasted vegetables
  • Summer vegetable terrine  
  • Spinach and chestnut roulade filled with smoked trout mousse served on baguette rounds

HOT

Soups

  • Rich pumpkin & roasted chestnut soup with a hint of honey
  • Wild mushroom & walnut soup 
  • Celery soup with blue cheese
  • Turkey  soup

  • Vegetable risotto topped with shaved parmesan
  • Filo triangles filled with spinach, fetta cheese & roasted pinenuts served with homemade chutney 
  • Roasted red peppers stuffed with fennel

 

All entrée’s served with fresh warm rolls

Mains

  • Turkey medalions served on roasted chestnuts & parsnips & served with a cranberry reduction 
  • Beef & bacon olives flavoured with fresh herbs; served with a creamy celeriac & potato puree,  beef gravy and a pastry top 
  • Venison with port, guiness & walnuts served with creamy mashed potato & celeriac 
  • Rich beef & mushroom pie served with potato & pumpkin mash
  • Pork fillets coated with roasted hazelnuts & served with herbs & spiced apricots 
  • Cock au vin served with couscous & vegetables 
  • Chicken breast filled with orange and macadamia nut stuffing and topped with a rich orange sauce
  • Baked eggplant parmegana with olives & fresh tomato sauce 
  • Beef, orange & bacon ragout served on a potato & celeriac puree


All mains served with traditional Christmas vegetables – salad available by request


Desserts

  • Flaming Christmas pudding served with brandy butter & custard 
  • Sticky date pudding served with butterscotch sauce & ice cream
  • Tropical fruit platter with a ripe Brie & crackers 
  • Bread & butter pudding served with triple cream & freshly grated nutmeg
  • Flourless apple & chocolate torte served with chocolate dipped strawberries & triple cream 
  • Brown pears poached in mulled wine
  • Steamed ginger pudding with hot butterscotch sauce 
  • Apple meringue pudding served with triple cream
