Chalet Host Service
All prices GST Inclusive
For you to really enjoy your holiday, Great Alpine Food offers a live in or out Au pair/chalet host service. A must for a group who've brought the kids along . A typical day might include 6.30 am – 10.30 am breakfast duties and apartment cleaning/bed making – baking a cake for afternoon tea, then 4.30 pm – 8.30 pm preparation of an evening meal, service and clean up or bathing, feeding, & babysitting the children
Our staff are available for a day, a weekend or on a weekly basis. Live in if you have the room or out if not. (Accommodation expenses must be covered.)
The basic prices for chalet hosts are as follows: 15% surcharge for Sundays & public holidays
1 day $340.00 – 8 hours
2 day $660.00 – 2 x 8 hours
5 day $1650.00 – 5 x 8 hours
Where accommodation is not supplied at the client's lodge/apartment an additional fee per day is required to cover accommodation costs.
Chalet Host Terms and Conditions:- To confirm a chalet host booking a deposit of $300.00 is required and credit card details which will be kept on file until final payment is made. Payment of the deposit signifies acceptance of the following terms and conditions.
- Where the staff member is required to stay over night, they must be provided with their own bed and bathroom facilities, this may be on a share basis either with children under 12 years of age or with same sex guests at the apartment.
- All meals must be provided by the client for the staff member while on duty
- Staff are available to baby sit children during the day or evening . They may only do so within their 8 hours of work time and may only care for 4 children under the age of 5 years at any one time.
- Where the staff member is required to cook meals for the guests all food is to be provided by the client, unless external catering is pre arranged with Great Alpine Food
- The staff member is to be respected at all times. Inappropriate behaviour by the client will not be tolerated, should this occur the staff member will be removed and full payment for the duration will be required & legal action may pend.
- Where a cleaning service is provided , all cleaning supplies and equipment must be provided by the client.
- Cancellation less than 28 days prior to the booking incurs a fee of $100.00
- The staff member is to work no longer than an 8-hour shift, this may be split. If extra hours are required please call us to organise this.
Road Closure In the event that Great Alpine Food cannot gain access to the mountain due to adverse weather conditions or road closure, Great Alpine Food will not be held liable for any losses incurred. Please be assured Great Alpine Food will make every effort to fulfill its obligations. Should road closure prevent your booking from taking place on the date booked, Great Alpine Food will attempt to fulfill the booking the following day, should this be unsuccessful due to the organizers unavailability or due to prior bookings on behalf of Great Alpine Food, the organizer shall pay for any costs incurred including food, staff & travel expenses.
